Goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen has signed a two-year deal with the Buffalo Sabres worth $837,500.

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen is back with the Buffalo Sabres. He will play in the NHL in 2022-23. Eric Comrie and Craig Anderson are the most likely candidates to be the third goaltender.

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen is in training camp with the Buffalo Sabres. He will be a third goaltender if Eric Comrie and Craig Anderson prove they can provide serviceable performances. Luuuk konon will play the 2022-23 season with Rochester Americans.

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen played in the NHL in 2021-22. He didn't play often due to injury and a second injury kept him out of the Calder Cup playoffs. Luuksen played between 10 and 15 games in Rochester last season. If he stays healthy, he could play as many as 25 games this season for Buffalo Sabres. It depends on how well Comrie and Anderson perform. If they struggle in preseason, Lukko will start the season in Rookies.
