Bundesliga matchday seven is on Saturday. Bayern Munich are yet to regain control of the top spot in the league after three successive draws. Union Berlin and FC Freiburg are table-topping and second in their respective leagues. Borussia Dortmund and Schalke 04 are playing a Rivier Derby at the Westfalenstadion. 1.FC Köln will try to pile on pointless VfL Bochum, 1FSV Mainz 05 will take on Hertha Berlin, Bayer Leverkusen will play SV Werder Bremen, Borussol Mönchengladbach will face RB Leipzig and VFB Stuttgart will look for their first win of season against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Mainz are without Marcus Ingvartsen, Jonathan Burkardt, Alexander Hack and Jessic Ngankam. Hertha are missing Linus Gechter, Rune Jarstein, Suat Serdar, Davie Selke and Kelian Nsona.

Mainz and Hertha have a negative goal difference after six weeks of play. Mainz is on a six-match unbeaten run (4-2-0) over Herta. Hera have taken just one point in their two home ties.

Sébastien Haller is out indefinitely. Gregor Kobel, Mahmoud Dahoud, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, Mateu Morey, Nico Schlotterbeck, Marcin Kaminski and Cédric Brunner are also missing.

Dortmund lost at Leipzig last weekend and at Manchester City last week. They play Schalke at the Westfalenstadion on Saturday. Schlke won their first game of the season against Bochum.

Leverkusen are without Florian Wirtz, Karim Bellarabi, Amine Adli, Andrey Lunev, Exequiel Palacios, Jean-Manuel Mbom, Leonardo Bittencourt, Jirí Pavlenka and Dikeni-Rafid Salifou. Bremen also have several key players in doubt.

Leverkusen beat Atlético Madrid 2-0 in the Champions League midweek. Werder Bremen have had a better start to the Bundesliga season.

Augsburg, Bayern and Dayot Upamecano are missing key personnel.

Bayern Munich are the current Bundesliga leaders. They are coming into matchday seven on a high after beating Robert Leverkusen and Barcelona in the Champions League. Augsburg has managed just four goals this season.

Stuttgart are missing Nikolas Nartey, Laurin Ulrich, Tanguy Coulibaly, Luca Pfeiffer, Almamy Touré, Aurélio Buta, Christopher Lenz, and Lucas Pellegrini. Frankfurt are also missing Jérôme Onguéné.

Stuttgart are currently in the relegation zone. Frankfurt are in good form after their Champions League win in midweek. Stuttgar have only one loss on their record.

Gladbach are missing Florian Neuhaus, Ko Itakura, Alassane Plea, Nico Elvedi and Dani Olmo. RBL are without Konrad Laimer and Lukas Klostermann.

Leipzig lost 2-0 to Real Madrid in the Champions League. They will play Gladbach in their final group game. Gladbbach has lost just once this season.

Timo Baumgartl is out indefinitely, Diogo Leite is doubtful and Jonas Wind is injured. Wolfsburg also has Jonas wind, Mattias Svanberg and Patrick Wimmer doubtful.

Union Berlin has lost their opening two Europa League matches. Wolfsburg won their first game of the Bundesliga season last weekend. Union Berlin is unbeaten in their last 13 league matches and has a good home advantage.

Bochum, Köln and Dominique Heintz are missing key personnel.

Bochum has lost all six of their Bundesliga fixtures this season. Köln has only tasted defeat once, last weekend against Union Berlin. Bochums have the worst defensive record in the Bundesliga, having conceded 18 goals.

Key personnel missing: Hoffenheim, Freiburg, Ihlas Bebou, Ermin Bicakcic, Benjamin Hübner, Philipp Pentke, Roland Sallai, Lucas Höler, Kimberly Ezekwem.

Hoffenheim is fourth in the Bundesliga and plays Freiburg on Sunday. Freiburg is second in league and has only lost once. Hoffenheimer has more goals at home than any other team.
