Bundesliga raid alert: Chelsea swoop for RB Leipzig's Christopher Nkunku

Chelsea are interested in signing Nkunku from PSG. The proposed move is not until the 2023/24 season. Nnunka's release clause is in effect until next summer's transfer window.

Chelsea FC are close to signing RB Leipzig's Christopher Nkunku. The attacking midfielder was once linked to Bayern Munich. Chelsea have a pre-contract agreement, but the release clause is not in effect yet. N kunka's contract runs until the 2023/24 season.

Nkunku has signed a pre-contract agreement with the West Londoners. The Athletic is told the club will pay their German Bundesliga counterparts a price in excess of the 24-year-old’s €60m (£52m, $58m) release clause.

Chelsea are interested in signing Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig. Nckunka scored 20 goals and made 13 assists in the Bundesliga last season. Chelsea are also interested to sign Croatian defender Joško Gvardiol. i.e. the signings make sense for Chelsea.

The talent drain from the Bundesliga continues apace.
