Burn City Best Bets: Coyotes Take on the Rangers in the Big Apple

The Arizona Coyotes continue their road trip with their second game of the year in the big apple, against the Rangers. For Mondays matchup the Coyotes come out as the underdogs, with +190 money line odds for the second straight game. In New Jersey, the were also the underdogs.  The Coyotes won their season opener in New Jersey backed by stellar play from Nick Schmaltz, who also led the team with two points, one goal and one assist.

Could we see another Yotes’ upset?

Sports bettors aren’t too sure of that. 83% of bets have been placed on the Rangers to get their second win Monday night. If you do however decide to take the Coyotes money line at +190, I would stake that bet and pair it with the Coyotes to cover the +1.5 spread. Arizona went toe to toe with a Stanley Cup contender to start the campaign, don’t be shocked if they notch another W.

The over/under line for goals scored in the game at 6.5 has odds of -150 for the over. Both of these teams score the puck exceptionally well. With that being said, the over seems to be the safe play in my eyes. I would also take the total goals even line at +165, for fun.

These two teams play well offensively, each team to go over 2.5 total goals is at +155. The Coyotes are aggressive on the offensive end and scored 4 goals in their first game. New York also has yet to go under that mark in their first two games. The Coyotes I would take over on 3.5 total goals, also at plus money.
