Can Tunisia finally manage to get past the World Cup group stage?

The North Africans are hoping to progress beyond the first round of the Qatar World Cup for the the first time in their history.

Tunisia is ranked 30th in FIFA's World Cup rankings. They have won only one World cup, in 1978. Their best finish was in the group stage. Tunisia has never got past the first round at a World Championship. The team's strengths are in their disciplined midfield and their attacking line-up. Youssef Msakni is a player to watch. He refused a move to Europe in 2013 and is now playing in Qatar Stars League. Tunisia is in Group D with Denmark, Austria and France. It is not likely that they will qualify for the knockout stages.
