Canucks: Betting odds and prediction vs. Flames (January 30)

J.T. Miller scored a hat-trick as Vancouver Canucks beat Winnipeg Jets 5-1 on Thursday night. Spencer Martin earned his first NHL win. Vancouver is currently seventh in the Pacific Division and three points behind the second wild card spot in Western Conference. Calgary is coming off a 5 to St. Louis Blues and is struggling after a good start to the season.

Vancouver Canucks beat Winnipeg Jets 5-1 on Thursday night. Calgary Flames lost 5 to St. Louis Blues on Wednesday night and are currently 20-13-6. Canucks are seventh in Pacific Division and three points behind the second wild card spot in the Western Conference. Thatcher Demko and Bo Horvat are expected to return to the team after COVID-19 protocols. Jacob Markstrom is expected in goal for the Canucks.  Calgary is the first of four games between now and the end of the season.

After an embarrassing defeat to St. Louis, the Flames will be motivated at home against the Canucks. Vancouver will also be full of confidence after their impressive road win against Winnipeg.
