Carlos Alcaraz's coach weighs in on Novak Djokovic returning to Australian Open

Juan Carlos Ferrero is pleased that Novak Djokovic is coming back to the Australian Open. DjOKovic has had his three-year ban from entering Australia rescinded. Carlos Alcaraz is the youngest No. 1 in tennis history. Alaraz beat Djoka in a three set thriller in May to win the Madrid Masters.

After winning Wimbledon, Djokovic missed the entire North American hard court swing due to his vaccination status. He returned to action during the indoor season and won three titles. Ferrero believes Djoka is happy to be able to play in the Australian Open. Carlos Alcaraz's coach believes that Djoko needs to win against the best to have a chance to compete at the tournament.
