Castleford Tigers awarded elite academy licence as Rob Nickolay details improvements and names next cabs off rank

Castleford Tigers have been granted an elite academy licence. Head of youth development Rob Nickolay is disappointed that the club did not get a 'good' grade. Nickoelay wants to improve the rating and make sure more players come through the academy. The academy has never had a full-time offering before. It's hard to get players through when they're working through day on building sites. The club has been proactive in their academy recruitment. They have seen talent slip through. Castleford have come out of the ordeal stronger for the experience. "There have be many changes and sleepless nights because there was a hell of a lot of work that needed to be done"
