Cavs vs. Celtics: Preview, odds, injury report, TV

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Cavs host the Boston Celtics Tuesday in an Eastern Conference showdown.

Coming out of the All-Star break, these two teams have had differing storylines. The Cavs have struggled and are riddled with injuries during the hardest stretch of the season, while the Celtics have won 11 straight and look to be one of the best teams in the NBA from the past few years.

When the Cavs were able to have success during a six-week stretch without Darius Garland and Evan Mobley, they leaned on role players to step up each night against lesser competition. Now, a similar test poses itself as Donovan Mitchell will miss at least the next three games after getting a Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injection to treat a left knee bone bruise that has sidelined him for the previous two games. But this battle against injuries will take place as the Cavs face playoff contenders and potential postseason matchups without their star player.

It will be a true trial of will, and the Cavs will see who can step up as a leader with Mitchell sidelined.
