That's a wrap

And there we have it, another dramatic and action-packed day comes to an end at the Cheltenham Festival. Do not worry though we still have one more day to go, with the small matter of the Gold Cup to play out on Friday...

Thank you very much for following, and be sure to tune back in to do it all again tomorrow!

Day three round-up: Upset in a dramatic Stayers'

One of the biggest results came in the marquee race of the day, as 33/1 shot Sire du Berlai won the Stayers' Hurdle. He was then followed home by another outsider as Dashel Drasher - who was priced as wide as 80/1 - battled home in second, with the favourite Teahupoo coming third.

The drama was not done there though, after a stewards enquiry was called. Sire du Berlai held onto his victory, however two and three were switched after Dashel Drasher was somewhat harshly deemed to have impeded Teahupoo.

Day three round-up: A good day for the bookies!

It had been a tough opening two days for the bookies, but they have no doubt clawed their ways back after today's racing!

Not one favourite came away with victory, will the well-backed Mighty Potter, Shishkin and Luccia all falling to live up to their prices. The punters will no doubt be back tomorrow!

Day three round-up: Shishkin defeated

Well, well, well, what a day of racing! The big headline coming into the day was Shishkin, but like last year it was not to be for the two-time Festival winner. A number of mistakes whilst jumping cost him dearly, before running on into second behind Envoi Allen.

Jockey Nico Deboinville gave his thoughts: "It never really went right from when the tapes went up. He was even sitting back on his haunches at the start.

"Over the first two, he wasn't taking me anywhere. I could dictate where I wanted to be at Ascot but I was pushed everywhere here. He was hanging a bit left."

For one final time we are off and running on day three, as the Kim Muir Challenge Cup gets underway.

Sir Chips Keswick finally witnesses a Cheltenham win

Owner of Chips Keswick You Wear It Well was pleased to finally see one of his horses win at the Festival in the flesh! His last and only other victory came in 2014 with Present View, when the former Arsenal chairman was in Germany watching his team lose 4-1 to Bayern Munich.

There is more cause for celebration this time around! He said: "I was away last time so it is wonderful ten years later. I went to Bayern Munich and they beat us 4-1.

“I think this mare is special. She is lovely, but she bites. I can’t believe it really. I have had a lot of horses but she is the best. I haven’t slept for a week.”

Walsh calls on live stewards enquiry

We made a trip into the stewards' room earlier this afternoon after Dashel Drasher was alleged to have impeded Teahupoo in the Stayers' Hurdle.

After hearing evidence from the jockeys, Cheltenham legend Ruby Walsh believes the discussion of the steward should also be aired live to racing fans... What do you think?
