Cheltenham Festival 2023 TV guide: How to watch every race live and full schedule

The Cheltenham Festival is just around the corner with the eyes of the racing world set to be on Gloucestershire once again. This year’s meeting gets underway on Tuesday, March 14.

Day’s one feature race will see Constitution Hill go off as heavy favourite in the Champion Hurdle with the Nicky-Henderson trained star having romped home in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle last year. Tuesday’s card gets underway at 1:30pm with the Supreme, with live coverage on ITV.

But not every race will be free to watch on terrestrial television. Here is your TV guide for the Cheltenham Festival 2023:

When does Cheltenham get underway?

The 2023 Cheltenham Festival begins on Tuesday, March 14 with the first race getting underway at 1.30pm.

How can I watch every Cheltenham race?

ITV1 will show five races live on each of the four days. Coverage will get underway half an hour before the start of the first race every day at 1pm. The Opening Show will also be screened live on ITV on the morning of each race day, with the programme taking place between 8.30am and 10am.

The final two races of the day will be screened live on Racing TV and on a bookies' live stream service.
