Cheltenham Festival 2024 day two tips: best bets and latest odds

Unbeaten in six starts over fences, including four at the highest level, El Fabiolo can keep the bandwagon rolling for trainer Willie Mullins in the Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase (3.30) at Cheltenham on day two.

He scored an impressive success on his Festival debut last year, proving far too good for Jonbon in the Arkle Trophy. El Fabiolo looked better than ever when cruising to victory at Leopardstown last month, leaving the classy mare Dinoblue trailing in his wake.

El Fabiolo can make the odd mistake but his jumping is generally fluent and, given that he is the clear pick on form, it is difficult to see why any of Wednesday’s rivals should beat him. He can maintain his unbeaten record in this sphere.
