Chet Holmgren's "bet on yourself" message embodies 2nd overall pick

Oklahoma City Thunder have spent the last year preparing for the 2022 NBA Draft. Chet Holmgren was selected by the Thunder in the lottery. Paolo Banchero and Tari Eason were invited to the draft green room.

OKC Thunder picked Chet Holmgren as their second overall pick in the NBA draft. Holgren is a 7'3" center who plays like a guard. He shot 40% from beyond the arc and is good at protecting the rim. The Orlando Magic picked Paolo Banchero at number one. Jabari Smith Jr fell to the second slot. Sam Presti made a bet on Holgerman. He chose him over Smith. If Holmerman hits his ceiling, he will be a player we have never seen before. It's a risk, but worth taking. For Presto, it's worth it.
