Chicago Bulls vs Toronto Raptors Odds

The ninth-seeded Toronto Raptors (41-41 SU, 41-39-2 ATS) welcome the 10th-seeded Chicago Bulls (40-42, 41-39-2) to Scotiabank Arena on Wednesday on the second night of the NBA Play-In Tournament. Toronto ended its season with six wins in its last nine outings while Chicago went 9-5 through its final 14 games.

The Raptors go in as the 5.5-point home favorite with the total set at 214.5 points. The UNDER is 5-1 in the last six meetings between the two teams while Toronto has won nine of its last 11 games vs Chicago at Scotiabank Arena. The winner of this game advances to play Miami for the No. 8 seed in the East while the loser is eliminated.

Latest Betting Notes: Bulls

The Bulls ended their campaign strong with two straight wins, most recently defeating the Detroit Pistons 103-81 on Sunday. Chicago’s offense did cool off in April, though, scoring just 108.6 points per game so far this month. Zach LaVine has been consistent with 23 points per game over that span but DeMar DeRozan has seen his production drop off to just 19 points per contest.

Chicago dropped two of three games to Toronto this season, averaging just 104.3 points in those contests, so the Bulls will need both LaVine and DeRozan to step up in this one.

Latest Betting Notes: Raptors

The Raptors came on strong to end the regular season, winning nine of their last 14 games, with four of the losses coming against the three top teams in the Eastern Conference.

Toronto has been stout defensively all season long, boasting the NBA’s fourth-ranked defense at 111.4 points against per game. That number has dropped even lower over the club’s last nine outings, with the Raptors surrendering just 104.6 points per outing.

However, Toronto could be down some key pieces, though Fred VanVleet (thumb) and OG Anunoby (ankle) are listed as probable.

Bulls Player Prop: LaVine OVER 26 Points (-115)

LaVine has been Chicago’s hottest scorer, leading the team in points in seven of its last 12 games. The shooting guard cooled off in his final two games but recorded at least 25 points in 12 of the 17 prior contests.

LaVine was solid against the Raptors this season as well, averaging 23.5 points over two meetings, including a 30-point performance on November 7. With Chicago’s season on the line, LaVine will likely need to clear the OVER on 26 points to keep the Bulls alive.

Raptors Player Prop: Siakam OVER 24 Points (-109)

Siakam has been the Raptors’ most consistent offensive weapon all year, averaging 24.2 points per game – five more than VanVleet, who ranks second. The power forward slowed down at the beginning of March but ended the year strong, averaging 25.2 points over his last nine contests, including three games of 30-plus points.

Siakam made just one appearance against the Bulls this season, scoring 20 points on February 28. He’ll have to be better than that to give Toronto an edge and cash the OVER on 24 points tonight.
