The White Sox need a win after losing 7 of their last 10 games. The White Sox have the third-worst record in the AL. The White Sox pitching staff is 26th in ERA (4.91), 25th in WHIP (1.41) and 20th in quality starts (50). Jose Urena gets the ball, and he is 0-7 with a 7.45 ERA and 26 strikeouts this season. Urena is 1-5 with a 4.39 ERA and 29 strikeouts in his career against the Padres.

Randy’s Pick

For whatever reason, the Padres want to play hard and string wins together. It's too little too late, but at least the Padres have become profitable these last couple of weeks and want to finish the season strong. The White Sox are the opposite end as they look like a team that's ready for vacation and Jose Urena has been horrible these last few seasons and has major control issues. Give me the Padres for a fifth straight victory.
