Christophe Lemaire, Cafe Pharoah Ride to Victory in February Stakes

Cafe Pharoah won the February Stakes. It was the first JRA Grade 1 win for Christophe Lemaire. It's the trainer Noriyuki Hori's 13th win in G1 events. Salios won Asahi Hai Futurity Stake on December 15, 2019. He will retire in 2020. The win was his 36th career J RA Grade One win.

Two Japanese horses won races in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, February 20. Pink Kamehameha won the 1,600-meter Saudi Derby. Keita Tosaki rode him for the first time. Copano Kicking and Matera Sky won Riyadh Dirt Sprint. It was the trainer Akira Murayama's first overseas bid. He did his best. He didn't know if the Saudi Arabian course would suit him.
