Clippers vs. Bulls analysis

Chicago needed overtime Wednesday night to outlast the Indiana Pacers, 132-129, as a five-point road underdog. DeMar DeRozan torched the Pacers for 46 points, while Alex Caruso knocked down five three-pointers for the Bulls, who have won four of their last six games.

The Clippers head to the Windy City off consecutive home losses to the Bucks and Timberwolves. They blew a 22-point lead in a 118-100 home setback to Minnesota on Tuesday as 5.5-point favorites. Kawhi Leonard exited the game in the second quarter with back spasms after scoring only six points.

Leonard and guard James Harden (shoulder) are both listed as questionable for the Clippers, who face the Bulls for the second time in less than a week.

Los Angeles rallied from a 14-point hole to shock Chicago last Saturday at Crypto.com Arena, 112-102. The Clippers, led by Paul George’s 22 points, managed to cover as eight-point favorites.

The Bulls have struggled at home of late by losing four of their last five games at United Center, including a 35-point blowout at the hands of the Dallas Mavericks on Monday.

Chicago has played well on the second end of back-to-back sets recently by winning four straight games with no rest.

Clippers vs. Bulls pick

Keep an eye on Leonard’s status for Thursday night’s game. Even if he and Harden are able to play, they’ll be less than full strength, so let’s grab the Bulls to cover as a home underdog against the Clippers.
