Clippers vs Heat Predictions & Odds (Dec. 8)

The Los Angeles Clippers are on a road trip and play the Miami Heat on Thursday at 7:30 PM ET. The Clippers lost to the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night. Miami lost their second straight game Tuesday to Detroit Pistons.

The Heat are 4-point home favorites with moneyline odds of -174. The Clippers come back as +146 betting underdogs. Miami won the last meeting in January. LA was unbeaten in six consecutive games in this matchup prior to that.

Clippers lost to the Magic in overtime. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George were injured. They are expected to miss Thursday's game. John Wall should return after resting Wednesday.   The Clippers had an 18-point lead in the first half but their 15 turnovers proved to be costly.

Jimmy Butler and Dewayne Dedmon are injured. Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson are probable for the game. Miami lost by 20 points to Detroit on Tuesday. The Heat are struggling to find their form. They are playing the Clippers on Sunday.  The Heat drained a mere 31% of their triples and played very poor defense.

Kawhi and PG missed time and they are unlikely to play for the second night in a row.
