Cody s wish was piloted by Junior Alvarado from off the pace to extend his winning streak to three-in-a-row.

Cody’s Wish won the Forego at Churchill Downs. It was the first win in this event for Bill Mott. Cody”s wish has won five of his last six races and six of last seven. Alvarado has been working with Bill for a long time. He has ridden Motti“s multiple graded stakes winner Speaker Corner to three wins and a placing this year. He won his second Foregos after piloting Strapping Groom to victory in 2013. The horse is a bay son of Curlin. His last start was a one-mile maiden at the Churchill Down in October.
