College Football Bowl Games: How to watch, predictions (Dec. 27)

College football bowl season is cranking up even more on Wednesday, December 29th, as there will be four bowl games kicking off at 2 PM EST.

We've got a quick look at each bowl game matchup for Dec. 27. Here's how to watch, odds, as well as a prediction for each Dec. 27 bowl game.

Virginia Tech is an 11-point favorite against Tulane, even though the Hokies are 6-6 and the Green Wave are 11-2. Tulane will be without its top quarterback and wide receiver Chris Brazzell. Running back Makhi Hughes will be a focal point. Virginia Tech is fresh off scoring 55 points over Virginia. QB Kyron Drones will be playing for the Hokies, which is why I see them covering the spread.

Prediction: Virginia Tech 31 (-11), Tulane 17

QB Garrett Greene has been solid for West Virginia. The Mountaineers will actually have him playing quarterback against North Carolina, while Drake Maye will sit out. Conner Harrell, a three-star freshman will start for the Tar Heels. West Virginia running backs Jahiem White and CJ Donaldson combined for nearly 1,600 rushing yards this season and with UNC less than full strength, I see Neal Brown getting the Mayo bath.

Prediction: West Virginia 34 (-6), North Carolina 24

Motivation is always a big deal when it comes to bowl games and you'd have to think Louisville will be the more motivated football team. Jack Plummer will give the Cardinals the advantage over a USC team without Caleb Williams. The Trojans defense isn't very good, while Louisville ranks 23rd in scoring defense, allowing just 19.7 points per game. It's not hard to guess which way this is headed.

Prediction: Louisville 35 (-6.5), USC 27

This should be a fun matchup of former Big-12 foes. Texas A&M will have a new head coach and the Aggies roster has seen a bunch of turnover. A&M will also be playing its third-string starting quarterback while Oklahoma State starting QB Alan Bowman will be available, along with Ollie Gordon, who is one of the nation's best running backs. Oklahoma State doesn't have a great defense, plus A&M doesn't lack talent, but Mike Gundy's team will be motivated and they'll notch the win.

Prediction: Oklahoma State 31 (-3.5), Texas A&M 24
