College football: Saturday's Week 10 Texas game previews

Beren Morton, Donovan Smith and Tyler Shough threw at least one of the team's five interceptions against Baylor. Lineman Tyree Wilson has 11.5 tackles for loss and 6. 5 sacks. SaRodorick Thompson and Tahj Brooks have combined for 955 yards rushing.

The 7th-ranked TCU Horned Frogs are unbeaten. Four of their five league wins have come against teams they lost to by at least two scores last season. Kendre Miller has run for 851 yards and 11 touchdowns and Max Duggan has thrown for 2,212 yards.

Baylor is off an impressive 45-17 victory at Texas Tech. Richard Reese is second in rushing yards (791) and rushing touchdowns (12). The defense forced five turnovers. Baylor is seeking its second all-time win in Norman and first in eight years.

The Sooners beat Iowa State 27-13 for their first conference road win. Eric Gray got 101 of the 182 rushing yards for the Sooner. Michael Turk averaged 49.3 yards on six punts. Oklahoma leads the series 28-4 and is 14-1 at home against the Bears.

Vernon Harrell caught six balls for 155 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the Huskies' 52-28 non-conference loss to Tennessee Martin. Karl Reynolds’ 29 catches have gone for 421 yards. Linebacker Rodney Dansby leads the Southland and is second in FCS with 11.9 tackles per game.

UIW beat Texas A&M-Commerce 35-7 last week. UIW has beaten HCU in all six games of the series.

UTSA is seeking a second straight 5-0 start in Conference USA. The Roadrunners are playing inside Protective Stadium for the first time.

Jacob Zeno made his first start as UAB quarterback in last week's 24-17 defeat at FAU. DeWayne McBride needs 46 yards to reach 3,000 career rushing yards. Uab is 4-0 at home and outscoring opponents 169-55.

FIU is looking for a third straight win after a 42-34 double-overtime victory over Louisiana Tech.

UNT needs one more win to be bowl eligible. Logan Wilson was named C-USA Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in the 40-13 win at Western Kentucky.

Donte’ Daniels and Austin Dunlap were named Southland Conference Defensive and Special Teams Player of the Week for their performances in the Lions‘ 28-27 win at McNeese.

Lamar won last Saturday's game against Nicholls 24-17. Tyler Jackson leads the Cardinals with 73 tackles, 7.5 for loss. Lamar has lost the past four games to SLU and trails in the series 12-4.

Texas State has lost their last two games. They haven't won since beating App State 36-24 on October 8. The past two defeats have been by six points or less. Texas State won the past 2 meetings with ULM.

ULM played its last game on Oct. 22. The Warhawks lost 48-24 to Army. ULM is 2-1 at home.

ACU is top of the WAC standings. Davion Johnson had 182 kickoff return yards on only four touches in last week's 34-31 road loss to North Dakota.

TSU lost 40-21 to Sam Houston. Darius Cooper caught two touchdown passes for 190 yards. The crowd of 20,237 was a stadium record.

Jackson State is unbeaten and reigning SWAC champion. Deion Sanders' son Shedeur Sanders leads the conference's top-ranked offense. Sy’veon Wilkerson has rushed for a team-best 673 yards. The Tigers” defense leads FCS in six statistical categories.

TSU is playing its best football of the season, winning its past three games after a 1-4 start. Andrew Body has accounted for 1,646 yards — 1.294 passing, 352 rushing. The Tigers lead the SWAC with 10 interceptions, three returned for touchdowns.
