Colorado Avalanche Season Preview: Visiting the Metropolitan Division

The Colorado Avalanche are the Stanley Cup Champions. They play the Carolina Hurricanes in Denver on November 12 and in Raleigh on the 17th. The last time the Avs played the Canes in the Metro division was on April 16, 2022 in Colorado. Ben Meyers made his debut and scored his first NHL goal in that game. The Av's clinched a spot in Stanley Cups playoffs a month before the end of the season.

Colorado Avalanche and New York Rangers will play each other on October 25 and December 9 in New Yorkers and Denver. New Jersey won the last year's Eastern Conference Final against Tampa Bay Lightning. The Rangers are going to be a serious threat in the Metro this season.

The last time the Colorado Avalanche and Washington Capitals met, the Caps won 3-2 on the road on April 18, 2022. Alexander Ovechkin is the main reason why the team behind him has struggled recently. The two teams meet on November 19 in DC and January 24 in Denver.

Colorado Avalanche and New York Islanders will play on Long Island on October 29 and in Denver on December 19. The Avs won the last game on March 7, 2022. Last year the Isles had a tough start to the season and were plagued by injuries.

Colorado Avalanche are visiting the Metropolitan Division in November 6, 2021. Columbus Blue Jackets won the last meeting 4-2. Johnny Gaudreau moved from Calgary Flames to Columbus. The Avs and Blue Jacket will play in the International Series in Finland on November 4 and 5.

The Devils lost to the Avalanche in Denver on April 14, 2022. The Avs had a nine-game win streak. New Jersey is looking for an upset. They play at home against the AvS on October 28 and away on March 1.

The Avs and Flyers played each other twice last year. The Av's won both games. John Tortorella's new style of hockey will not fit well on the East Coast. They play each others' teams on December 5 and December 13.
