Colorado vs. Oregon prediction and odds for Thursday, January 26

The 12-9 Colorado Buffaloes really needed a win this weekend and got one on Sunday, 58-55, over Washington State. Prior to that game, the Buffs had lost three straight to fall to 4-6 in the Pac 12. They’re on the road in Oregon tonight and the 11-9 Ducks are 5-4 in conference play. One of those four losses came at Colorado on January 5, a 68-41 blowout win by the Buffs.

Can the Ducks avenge that loss at home this time? They’re the favorites to do it, so let’s get into the odds.

Colorado vs. Oregon odds, spread and total

Colorado vs. Oregon prediction and pick

There is one big problem for this Colorado basketball team. They can’t win games away from home, 0-4 against the spread in their last four games. Colorado plays at a fast pace and that helps them when they’re at elevation, but they won’t have that advantage tonight.

The Buffaloes also play a very small lineup, primarily playing four guards. Their only center, Lawson Lovering plays 20 minutes a night. They spread out Oregon the last time they played and their stretch forward, Tristan da Silva had 30 points. Oregon is a very big team with N’faly Dante, and Nate Bittle inside, so they’ll pound Colorado on the boards and score in the paint with ease.

In that previous matchup, Oregon couldn’t have hit water if they fell out of a boat. The Ducks went 1/14 from three and shot 26.9% from the field. There is no way that they’ll struggle that much this time around, because Colorado is allowing their opponents to shoot nearly 50% from two point range in their last three games.
