Column: A holiday wish list for Chicago sports fans

It's never too early to post your holiday wish list. Chicago sports fans are wishing for a few things. Justin Verlander and Dylan Cease finished first and second in American League Cy Young Award voting. The Bulls need to bring back their star player, LaDonovan Ball. The scoreboard at Soldier Field should be better. It was wrong for the Bears-Miami Dolphins game. There was a scoreboard error at the Bulls-Toronto Raptors game at United Center. Getting the scoreboard to function properly should also be a priority for teams. They should fix it. A short-term deal for Verler and Ceasare would be good for White Sox.

The Chicago Bulls are running annoying betting ads during their games. The Sox won't hold SoxFest in January. Charles Tillman doesn't make any money off his signature Peanut Punch. Bears fans are happy about their team's 3-7 record. Aaron Rodgers is having a terrible season. The Bears-Packers game on December 4 is a fantasy for Chicago sports fans. They hope the defense will stop Rodgers. It's worth celebrating.   The Bears are playing at Soldier Field on Dec. 4. Chicago is also playing a game against the Packers.
