Concert Hall backed for the Irish 1,000 Guineas as O'Brien's other runners drift

Tuesday is the market leader for the Irish 1,000 Guineas. Tuesday's stablemate Concert Hall is also being supported. Aidan O'Brien has a history of winning Classics with bigger-price runners. Empress Josephine won the race last year at 14-1. Homeless Songs is a big drifter and is 11-2.

Broome finished fourth in the 2019 Derby. Aidan O'Brien's horse returns to the Curragh on Sunday after a 175-day break. Broome is being backed to go one better than last year in Tattersalls Gold Cup. Concert Hall is backed for the Irish 1,000 Guineas.

Tom Marquand is in demand as his Group 1 rides shorten. Marqu and Alenquer are both in action on Sunday. Alanquer is seeking a first Group One victory in the Tattersalls Gold Cup. Lord North and State Of Rest are also in contention. Purplepay is making her stable debut for William Haggas. She is now as short as 13-2.

The official going updated at 8.15am is good to yielding on the straight course and good, good and yielding in places on round course. The weather forecast looks promising for conditions to remain as they are with it being mainly dry.
