Corner Picks: Soccer predictions, best bets, odds for Atalanta vs. Inter Milan, Tottenham vs. Leeds, more

The final weekend before the World Cup break is here. I enjoy major international tournaments like the FIFA World cup and the Euros, but I don't enjoy international soccer the same way as I do club soccer. This year's World Cups are very different from previous ones. National teams don’t have the time to work together as a club and it limits how they can play. My soccer brain is overloaded with thoughts about how things are going with the clubs I support and I haven't had time for thinking about the United States squad selection.

Tottenham Hotspur is the favorite to beat Leeds United. Leeds has won two of their last three matches, but they allowed an average of 1.67 expected goals in those games. Tottenham will play a possession game and pass the ball into open space. Tottenham is betting on the underdog. The pick is Tottenham (-155). Atalanta lost three of four matches and are sixth in Serie A. They allowed nine goals in the last six matches. Inter lost to Juventus 2-0 last week. The over is the smarter play here. The Pick: Over 2.5 (-145). It's a good bet. It is a different team than Juventus.

Juventus have won five straight Serie A matches and are now fourth in the table. Lazio are second in Serie B and have only one league loss in their last nine matches. Both teams are playing wonderful defense. The under 2.5 (-130) is the pick for this match.

There are few options for a parlay this weekend, but there is a chalky five-legger that pays +127. Manchester City, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, PSG and Lille are the options.
