Cristiano Ronaldo Next Club Odds: Inter Keen Amid Saudi Exit Talk

Inter Milan are the front-runners to sign, Cristiano Ronaldo, as rumours over the Portuguese international leaving Al-Nassr start to circulate.

The former Manchester United star signed for Al-Nassr in January 2023, after a public dispute with Dutch manager, Erik ten Hag.

Ronaldo had been rumoured with a move away from Old Trafford, after refusing to come on against Spurs and even taking part in a scathing interview with Piers Morgan.

His time in Saudi Arabia has been successful, from a personal perspective, as Ronaldo has scored 13 goals in 14 league matches.

However, these goals may not have been enough to fulfill the 38-year-old’s competitive desire, as rumours over a return to Europe have began.

According to UK Betting Sites, Serie A side, Inter Milan, are the favourites to sign Cristiano Ronaldo and would be the Portugal international’s second spell in Italy.

Formerly at Juventus, Ronaldo was prolific during his time in Serie A, as he scored 101 goals in 134 matches. Unfortunately for supporters of the Old Lady, a return to Turin seems unlikely due to the club’s recent points deduction dropping them out of Champions League qualification.

The incentive around Ronaldo’s reported exit is to play in Europe once again, as this season was the first time the former Real Madrid star has not competed in European football for almost two decades.

Inter are having a terrific season, as they prepare to face Manchester City in the Champions League final. Simone Inzaghi’s side have two prolific goal scorers in Edin Dzeko and Romelu Lukaku, however the Belgian striker is set to return to Chelsea at the end of the season.

Lukaku’s return to the Premier League could open up a place in the Inter front line and with rumours over Ronaldo’s exit progressing, we may see the five-time Ballon D’or winner return to Italy.
