Dale Ferguson making grandad proud with Scotland honour
Dale Ferguson is proud to represent his Scottish heritage. He was born and raised in Yorkshire but qualifies to play for Scotland through his granddad, who hails from Edinburgh. Ferguson got his first Scotland shirt framed and gave it to his grandfather Donald.
Scotland are in a group with Fiji, Italy and reigning champions Australia at this year's World Cup. Dale Ferguson has won 19 caps for Scotland. Scotland's first match is against Italy on Sunday, October 16.
