Darci La Bella Wins G2 Breeders Stakes

Jonathan Riddell rode Darci La Bella to victory in the Gr.2 Dunstan Feeds Auckland Thoroughbred Breeders’ Stakes (1400m) on Saturday. The Allan Sharrock-trained daughter of Darcea Brahma had already won four of her eight starts on the track. She was the $2.20 elect. Ridell was riding Babylon Berlin before the race. Darcy Laella is the half-sister to Sharrocks' much-loved stakes performer Tavi Mac.
