Daydream believer: Chris O’Loughlin’s remarkable rise up the football ladder
Chris O'Loughlin was born in Limerick to a father from Belfast and a Scottish mother. He spent his youth in South Africa and worked in a bank before taking up coaching. O’Louglin got a B licence and started working as a coach in the townships. Bibey Mutombo was coaching Black Leopards in rural South African and invited O'soglin to train with him. He was then asked to be his assistant coach with the first team in Congo. The move was a success. His current club is playing in Belgium. It is a team that he helped to build.
He is enjoying his job at the club. He is working with some good ownership. Football keeps moving forward and he knows it can change in a moment.
