Deans and IDC trophies up for grabs

Deans and IDC trophies are up for grabs in today's Deans quarters and Rugby Championship. RKS and QVS will play against each other at the HFC Bank Stadium. The Wallabies and All Blacks will meet tonight.

The All Blacks won 39-37 against the Wallabies in the Bledisloe Cup. The result sent the men in green and gold to their worst ranking. South Africa beat the Pumas 22-20 in Argentina. Malcolm Marx scored a late try to keep the Springboks in title hunt. The final round of games takes place this weekend. All Black's will host the Australian team. They will play Argentina at home. Spring boks are level with the All blacks on 14 points in Rugby Championship table. Argentina's team is on 22 points. It's the same as South African team's 22nd-6 victory over Puma's.

Lions drawn in tough IDC pool. Labasa is the defending champion. Suva leads Pool A and will face the impressive Nadi side and underdogs Nadroga and Navua. Premier and Senior divisions have six teams each. The IDc takes place from 5-10 October at the HFC Bank Stadium. It's the first time in 47 years that Labasa won the tournament. Lautoka won it in 1973. In 2019, the Lions defeated Suvva 1-0 in extra time.

Fiji Bati are preparing for the Rugby League World Cup. The team has been hit hard with injuries to key players. Fiji Batis will take on the world's best rugby league players when they meet Australia.

The national quarterfinals will be played at the HFC Bank Stadium. Suva Grammar School will take on Lelean Memorial School, while Nasinu Secondary School takes on Ba Provincial Freebird Institute. Tailevu giants RKS will play Marist Brothers High School and QVS will meet Natabua High school.
