Pick

Arizona has really played poorly over the last month and they have gone from first in the NL Central to third. San Francisco has played much better over that period and they are only a couple of games behind the Dodgers. The Giants are starting Sean Manaea, who has allowed six earned runs in his last 13.1 innings of work. The Diamondbacks are starting Brandon Pfaadt, who has allowed 3, 3, 6, 5, and 3 earned runs in his last five starts. Pfaadt has bounced between the majors and Triple-A, but he has struggled to be productive for the Diamondbacks. I am going to fade Pfaadt and take the Giants here.
