Tommy Kahnle returns from the injured list with scoreless inning to keep game tied. Dbacks beat Dodgers 5-3. Tommy Kahnel had been out for four months with forearm inflammation.
Dodgers tied the game with back-to-back home runs from Will Smith and Trayce Thompson in the fourth. They lost the match to the Diamondbacks.

Tony Gonsolin had an encouraging bullpen session on Wednesday. His status for the rest of the season is still unclear. Roberts is hopeful Gonolin will be able to contribute during the playoffs. He also hints that Ggonolin could come out of bullpen.
Yency Almonte came out of a simulated game feeling well. Brusdar Graterol, David Price and Blake Treinen all threw bullpen sessions on Wednesday.
The Dodgers have won the National League West for the ninth time in 10 years. They were the betting favorites to win the World Series before the season. Their first opponent will probably be from a group of five teams: Atlanta Braves, New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies, San Diego Padres and Milwaukee Brewers. The Dodgers manager Dave Roberts says that winning the division is a routine but it's also a source of consistency.
