DraftKings promo: Bet $5 on the World Series, get $200 in bonus bets

There is a good chance that Wednesday night might be your last opportunity to bet on meaningful baseball until late March. The Texas Rangers have a chance to win the World Series on Wednesday night, and thanks to DraftKings Sportsbook, you have the chance to win $200 in bonus bets.

All PennLive readers who have yet to create an account with DraftKings Sportsbook are eligible for their sign-up offers, which award users $200 in bonus bets after they place an original $5 wager. Simply bet $5 on the World Series tonight and receive $200 added to your bankroll to use for the rest of the week. While existing users aren’t eligible for this promotion, DraftKings has plenty of promotional offerings for current users as well.

If you’re a reader of PennLive and you have yet to sign up for a DraftKings account, now is the time to do so. With fall in full swing, there are daily options to bet on whether it is football, baseball, hockey or basketball. The baseball season might be winding down, but the rest of the sports calendar is heating up.

Simply sign up for a new account, deposit and wager $5 and then claim $200 in bonus bets. The return on your investment is certainly worthwhile. Here’s how to claim your free bonus bets:

  1. Enter all necessary personal information such as your name, address and date of birth.
  2. Create your account using your preferred email address and a secure password.
  3. Download the DraftKings sportsbook app so you have the power to stay tapped in while on the go.
  4. Fund your account using any of the available deposit methods such as PayPal or online banking.
  5. Place your first bet, making sure to risk at least $5.

Once you’ve completed these steps, there is no sweat. Whether your bet wins or loses, DraftKings will credit your account with $200 in bonus bets. These bonus bets are split into eight separate $25 bets. All bonus bets must be used within seven days or they will expire. You cannot withdraw a bonus bet until you wager it and turn the winnings into cash balance.

DraftKings Sportsbook provides a daily all-sport, no-sweat same game parlay token for both new and existing customers. To unlock this offer, log into your account, go to the promotions page, and opt-in daily. You’ll receive one token per day.

To qualify for this offer, your same game parlay must consist of at least three legs. Apply the token in your betslip before placing the bet; it can’t be applied afterward. The maximum wager allowed for this promo varies by account, so check your promotional terms to know your limit.

If your same game parlay loses, you’ll get a refund in the form of a bonus bet. These bonus bets must be used within seven days and wagered at least once before withdrawal. Note that you can’t combine promotions or use the “no sweat” bet to unlock $200 in bonus bets.

With offers like this and others, DraftKings has shown they provide value when it comes to promotional offerings. Combine this with their expansive list of markets as well as their easy-to-use mobile interface and quick withdrawal times, and it’s easy to see why DraftKings is considered an industry leader according to our most recent review.

The Texas Rangers have a 3-1 series lead in the World Series after their 11-7 win in Game 4 on Tuesday night. Both teams went with a bullpen day, and things certainly shook out better for the Rangers. Texas took a 10-0 lead after three innings as they got to Miguel Castro, Kyle Nelson and Luis Frias. Marcus Semien had a 3-run home run and a 2-run triple while Corey Seager added a two-run home run himself. Arizona made the final score look somewhat respectable, but the game was over early.

In Game 5, we will see a repeat of the pitching matchup from Game 1. Both Nathan Eovaldi and Zac Gallen were far from their best in the series opener, but both have been money pitchers throughout the regular season and the postseason. Eovaldi looks to wrap up his second World Series in five years after he won it with the Boston Red Sox in 2018.

The Rangers are slight -115 favorites on the moneyline at DraftKings Sportsbook, which means oddsmakers think it’s a little more likely than not that Wednesday marks the final baseball game of the season. It’s never too late to check out our MLB betting guide to give yourself an edge against the books.
