For a struggling Giants team so far in 2023, things aren’t going to get much easier this week under the lights in Buffalo. New York has already been without star running back Saquon Barkley, who could miss yet another game with his ankle injury, and now may be without their quarterback.

Daniel Jones’ status is up in the air for Sunday as he deals with a neck injury sustained last week against Miami. Tyrod Taylor would step into the starting role and could make his first NFL start since 2021 when he was with the Houston Texans.

New York’s offense is already 31st in passing yards per game and dead last in total yards per game, which could spell even more trouble for Sunday.

On the other side, we have the Bills, who have had an up-and-down start to the season. Buffalo fell to the Jets in Week 1 but rattled off three straight dominant wins right after. The Bills outscored their opponents 123-33 in those three games and looked the part of a true Super Bowl contender.

They quickly were knocked down a few pegs last week, however, in a 25-20 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in London, though the extra travel may have played a role given Jacksonville had already been in London the week prior for a game.

Expectations are still high in Buffalo, with QB Josh Allen still near the top of the league in passing yards and passing touchdowns this season.

Things seem to be favoring the Bills, but there’s a reason they play the games, so let’s see if the Giants have a surprise in store for primetime. Buffalo is listed as a 14.5-point favorite at DraftKings and -1200 on the moneyline. The Over/Under is set at 44.5 points.
