Ducks vs. Flyers NHL Best Bets, Picks & Predictions (Tuesday)

Tonight’s midweek slate features eight games with a couple of intriguing matchups to keep an eye on. The Panthers square off against the Maple Leafs in a divisional clash, while out west, the Kraken take on the Oilers. It should be an entertaining night on the ice. Let’s check out my top three bets. And here’s a closer look at Ducks vs. Flyers.

Here are our other best bets for Tuesday:

Today’s Best NHL Bets: Ducks vs. Flyers

The Ducks and Flyers each played yesterday and come into tonight’s game looking to snap losing streaks. For Anaheim, it was a 4-3 overtime loss, while Philadelphia got dominated 6-0 against the Bruins. This cross-conference showdown is set for 7:00 p.m. ET tonight from the Wells Fargo Center.

Anaheim’s woes continue as they’ve now dropped four straight games, getting outscored 23-8 over the four-game sample. John Gibson has started each of those contests, and I expect he’ll take a seat tonight, entering the second night of a back-to-back. That would lead to Anthony Stolarz getting the start between the pipes, and the 28-year-old has not been serviceable this season. He’s 3-5-0 with a 3.88 GAA and .895 SV%. On the road, Stolarz sees his GAA tick up to 4.21.

I’ll fade the backup netminder and lock in the Flyers on the puck line. Philadelphia has been playing well lately, winning seven of its last 10 games. Let’s ride with the Flyers against one of the worst teams in the NHL.

Bet: Philadelphia Flyers -1.5 (+140 via DraftKings)
