Dusan Vlahovic Next Club Odds: Todd Boehly After Old Lady Star

Juventus fans won’t remember the 2022/23 season too fondly. Nothing seemed to work for the Old Lady, as the club finished 7 in Serie A after the club received a 10-point deduction. One of the few good things we can pinpoint is Dusan Vlahovic’s goalscoring consistency.

The Serbian superstar is a player that needs no introduction. He made a decent World Cup in Qatar and a tremendous season with Juventus. Goalscorer-in-chief Vlahovic made 27 appearances for the Old Lady in Serie A, during which he scored 10 goals and supplied teammates with two assists. This was definitely an improvement on his debut season with the team from Turin.

Dusan also managed to open his score tab for Juventus in the Champions League. During his two seasons with the Old Lady, he managed to score five goals for his club in the most prestigious club tournament in the World.

His consistency hasn’t been left unnoticed by the rest of the top dogs around. Every world-class manager would kill to have a striker such as Vlahovic at his disposal, but very few teams actually have the financial might to pull off such a deal.

So, who are the teams interested in signing the Serbian top scorer? Is his Juventus career over, or are his best days defending the Old Lady’s honor ahead of him? Let’s find out what the future has planned for the 23-year-old.

Dusan Vlahovic next club

To stay at Juventus – 3/2

The key reason behind the lack of offers for the 23-year-old Serbian finisher is the fact that his price tag is simply ludicrous. Currently, Dusan Vlahovic’s market value stands at a whopping €70m. Very few are the clubs able to complete such a monster of a deal.

The Agnelli family will even want more for their star’s services. There are some teams that are interested in signing Dusan, but as things stand at the moment, his future seems linked with the team from Turin.

Dusan Vlahovic joined Juventus back in 2022 on a crazy €66.6 transfer. Ever since then, he’s been scoring non-stop for his team. He confessed his love for the Old Lady on numerous occasions, so we don’t think he’s as eager to leave Turin, as some people out there say he is.

Dusan Vlahovic is the frontrunner of Massimiliano Allegri’s project. That’s not something the Serbian superstar can so easily get in different clubs. It might be the reason to convince him to put his signature under a new deal with Juventus.

Chelsea – 17/10

As much love as the 23-year-old has for the black-and-white jersey, Todd Boehly’s desire to make a Premier League-winning squad is famously-known. The US businessman spared no expense last season either, but Chelsea’s superstars just couldn’t gel well.

As of the beginning of August, the Blues from London have spent €184m on transfer fees! However, the team is still financially stable, having made a €253m profit. It seems that Chelsea is the only club that can afford Dusan Vlahovic at the moment.

As financially potent as the Blues from London are, they are trying to poach Vlahovic on a swap deal for Belgian goalscorer Romelu Lukaku. With the Old Lady financially unstable recently, there’s a chance Juventus might get tempted to sell.

PSG – 10/1

Todd Boelhy isn’t the only club owner that has the financial backbone to go after Dusan Vlahovic. Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani is also keen on making adjustments to PSG’s starting XI, with Kylian Mbappe seemingly reluctant to put his signature under a new PSG deal.

Unlike Chelsea, PSG would be willing to pay the full price for the Serbian superstar. At the start of the transfer window, Luis Enrique was eager to work with Tottenham Hotspur superstar Harry Kane. However, this deal won’t go through, so Dusan Vlahovic seems like the next best thing in front of the French giants.
