Easily shouldering the weight of expectation, State of Origin hopeful Joseph Suaalii still has time to dream

Joseph Suaalii is excited about coming into the State of Origin camp. He's been watching the team he's always dreamed of playing for since he was 14. The expectations around him are incredible, but he doesn't let them weigh him down. He plays like a man and after a big off-season he looks like one too. Sualie is a popular figure in the camp and the players treat him like an eager younger brother. His parents are happy he is in this camp, and he takes things day by day. It's a good thing he has this time when it's all still in front of him and his dreams are still dreams.

Joseph Suaalii is a State of Origin hopeful. He is already a little older than Brad Fittler was when he first played Origin back in 1990. FITTler is not afraid to throw in a rookie if he thinks they're good enough. Payne Haas was picked after 10 NRL matches. Sualie wants to learn from players of this calibre. He wants the opportunity to be around Nathan Cleary. His family is watching Origin at Glenmore Park. It might be the last time he's watching it at home.
