EFL Cup third round Predictions: betting preview and free football tips

EFL Cup third round takes place at 7.45pm Wednesday.

Arsenal take on Brighton in the third round of the EFL Cup. Newcastle take against Crystal Palace. Blackburn take a trip to play West Ham.  Blackburn have exceeded expectations by winning 12 of their opening 20 games. West ham have lost two of last three games and are 9-1 underdogs. The Hammers have won five of six games in all competitions. They have a better record in Championship. Bristol Rovers have also exceeded their expectations. Their last six matches have been won. Michael Olise scored a late winner in their second round win over Tranmere. Elliot Anderson played the majority of Newcastle's second-round win.
