Emmanuel Clase Continues To Rack Up Awards In 2022
The Cleveland Guardians won their first division title since 2018. Emmanuel Clase was named the Mariano Rivera American League Reliever of the Year. Andres Gimenez and Steven Kwan were selected to the All-MLB first and second teams.

Emmanuel Clase was awarded the Reliever of the Year award for the Guardians in 2022. He was acquired from the Texas Rangers in exchange for Corey Kluber after the 2019 season. New York Mets star closer Edwin Diaz was also named the National League's Relievers of Year.
