This World Cup doesn't come at an ideal time for an England side struggling recently, with two losses to Ireland and Fiji in the lead up to this.
England have also lost six of their nine games played this calendar year - with their only wins coming over Italy and Wales.
Ireland were dominant in their last clash with England winning 29-10 and Fiji were also able to get past England's defence a few times winning 30-22.
Argentina have only had five games so far - losing to New Zealand in July, before a thrilling 34-31 victory over Australia.
They narrowly lost 22-21 to South Africa next time and once again fell to the same side a week later before thrashing Spain 62-3 in their final preparation game.
These two sides faced each other back in November at Twickenham Stadium and Argentina narrowly won the Autumn International clash 30-29.

Argentina could replicate their win at Twickenham Stadium and it's set to be another close clash - albeit with a likely high score given both side's form going into the World Cup.
Head to head results suggest England can win this but the circumstances have changed since their last win against Argentina.
England beat Argentina back in October 2019 in the World Cup hosted by Japan but the South American side are much more ruthless now, which again doesn't come at a great time to face the Red Roses.
