England Women vs Netherlands Women: Lionesses host Dutch in toughest pre-Euros test

England Women host the Netherlands in a pre-tournament friendly at Elland Road in Leeds on Friday evening. England Women won 3-0 over Belgium last Thursday. This is the first time England and the Dutch have met since the 2017 Euro Championships. Sarina Wiegman's side are undefeated in their last 12 matches and have scored 75 goals and conceded only twice.

The game will be a major litmus test for England ahead of the European Championships. It is the first game Netherlands have played in the preparations for the Euros. Wiegmann expects their strongest team. The coach wants to see an improvement in their style of play. She wants them to focus on that. They want to improve in possession, out of possession and transition.
