Epatante ‘still a possible’ for Mares’ Hurdle after Henderson mistake

Epatante was not included in the initial entries for the Cheltenham Festival contest. Nicky Henderson believes she should be considered as a possible runner in Mares’ Hurdle. Epatant won the Champion Huddle in 2020 and placed second behind Honeysuckle the following two years. Henderson admits she could be running in both races. Marie's Rock is the only other horse in contention for Mare's Huddle, which is open to supplementing. First Street is also a possibility. The Champion and Seven Barrows trainer is leading trainer of the Houden Hundle and First Stance.
