EURO 2024 Qualifying Tips: Best bets for September 2023

Kazakhstan vs Finland
- Thursday 7th September, 3pm
1st and 2nd in Group H kickstart September's EURO 2024 qualifiers. Finland top the group with a superior goal difference, netting 10 times and letting in three, while Kazakhstan sit two points clear of Denmark having scored four more goals than they've conceded.
Denmark are the only other team besides this pair to provide a challenge in the group, with BTTS landing in Finland and Kazakhstan's matches with the Danes. Denmark defeated the Finnish 3-1, while Kazakhstan edged them out as 3-2 winners, therefore it wouldn't be a big surprise to see these top two teams share a similar number of goals in this meeting.

France vs Republic of Ireland

In an unevenly matched game like this, the value is always going to lay with some form of Ireland-related punt. Nathan Collins believes his international side have the quality to hurt France and he may well be the man to back that claim up. He's had at least one shot in each of his last three appearances for country, netting in a 2-1 loss to Greece after letting off two shots in this exact fixture back in March.
He's also met this line in half of his opening four Premier League appearances this season for Brentford, giving real weight to the 5/2 on offer in comparison to Paddy Power's 11/10.

Ukraine vs England

As you'd expect, the Three Lions have faced little resistance so far in their qualifying campaign. They boast a 100% record after four fixtures, winning by an aggregate score of 15-1; matchday 1's meeting with Italy the only goal they've conceded during this period.
Ukraine have scored four and shipped as many in three outings, losing 2-0 to Southgate's side in their opening qualifier in March. The home side will play this match in Poland due to ongoing conflicts in their homeland and this should be another fairly routine win for the visiting team.

San Marino vs Slovenia

Group H's whipping boys San Marino come up against Slovenia again on Sunday. This bet was successful in their first meeting back in March when the Slovenians ran out as 2-0 winners, as well as in each of their last two victories. The minnows have expectedly shipped 13 goals without reply in their qualifying campaign, losing all four of their fixtures, with that run not looking like coming to an end any time soon.
We're writing this before either side's first September qualifying fixture, but going into those matches Slovenia have won five of their last eight matches, losing just once to table toppers Finland. In their last 17 outings Slovenia have not managed to score more than two goals, so there is strong appeal to the 11/4 on show for Slovenia to win and under 2.5 goals to be scored in the match.
