Europa League Winner Odds: Liverpool 13/5 favourites for European Glory

Our football expert offers up the latest Europa League winner odds, with Liverpool 13/5 favourites after three games in the group.

The Europa League is truly well and underway now, heading into the pre knockout stage, before the round of 16 games a finalised.

2023/24 Europa League Outright Odds

Liverpool @13/5

After a near-perfect group stage, Liverpool appears to be one of the strongest sides in the Europa League even after the fallers from the Champions League.

Their first-place finish culminated in them avoiding having to play a knockout round, as they advanced straight to the round of 16, having played two games less than their counterparts, and avoiding the chance of being knocked out early.

Leading the Premier League presently it is hard to look past the Reds, who will be eager to make up for a season without Champions League football.

Injuries could hurt their side, with limited depth in some core positions, however, they presently are the best side in the competition, unmatched by any others.

Bayern Leverkusen @11/2

The Bundesliga leader and the only side still undefeated in all competitions have seen their odds come in rapidly since their run, one that is the envy of the biggest clubs.

Xabi Alonso is being praised for his efforts with this side and much of this seems to be being demonstrated in their impressive performances, one that saw them top their group with a perfect record.

They too have escaped the dreaded knockout round, permitting rest and relaxation as they sit back and watch the rest duke it out for a place in the round of 16.

Form-wise, they are easily the best side in the tournament, perhaps even the best in Europe, yet this does not mean everything but seeing them in the final wouldn’t be too much of a stretch.

AC Milan @10/1

Ac Milan are the only Champions League fallers inside the top five or betting, yet the strength and ease of schedule makes this unsurprising.

Falling out of the group of death had to happen to someone, and AC Milan was hard fought in their efforts to secure third place after Newcastle dropped out completely.

They must surpass a Rennes side should they wish to advance to the round of 16, yet this shouldn’t prove too much of a challenge after the French side lost two of their group games.

Milan's talent-wise or one of the best sides still remaining, yet their extra games could prove consequential.

Brighton @12/1

Brighton as a Premier League side was well fancied pre-tournament and still holds a mantle of being one the best sides in the competition.

However, their relative inexperience in Europe, this being their first journey here ever, shone through as they only secured the top spot on the final day.

Their odds have come in of late, no doubt due to this finish, and the avoidance of a knockout round game, as they progress straight into the round of 16.

There are a number of other impressive teams in the tournament, these that could prove perfectly capable of dispatching this Seagulls side that have looked spotty of late in their group efforts, and put an end to their hopes in Europe.

West Ham @12/1

The Hammers' foray into European football got off to a great start as they topped their group, with a final-day win over Freiburg securing this for them.

As such avoiding the knockout stage has seen their odds shorten massively, having been at near 25/1 before the tournament.

Sadly are proving to be hot and cold in their league efforts this year, and should this continue into Europe they may well come undone over two legs.

Despite many fearing their side would acutely feel the loss of Declan Ric, James Ward-Prowse has stepped up in his place, yet even the Englishman may not be able to help them, with his silky smooth set pieces.
