Europe watch: USMNTers, rising MLS exports to track post-World Cup

The USMNT lost in the World Cup quarterfinals to the Netherlands. The players who played for the US in Qatar are preparing for their club lives. Some of them are headed to new clubs. The US players are also preparing themselves for a busy schedule. They are all preparing to play for CONCACAF Nations League in March and defend the Gold Cup title in half a year. There is a new North American World cup in 2026.

Christian Pulisic has played 17 times for Chelsea this season. He has scored one goal and made two assists. Newcastle, Leeds United, Manchester United and Arsenal are rumoured to be interested in signing him. Chelsea are currently 8th in the Premier League table. They play Bournemouth on Tuesday. The team will play nine domestic matches before the Champions League in mid-February.

Tyler Adams and Brenden Aaronson are playing for Leeds United in the Premier League. Leeds are 15th in table and have a tough schedule after the World Cup. They play Man City on Wednesday, Newcastle and West Ham in their first seven days back.

Kai Wagner is an MLS export from Philadelphia Union. He will join Elland Road in January.

Matt Turner played for the USMNT at the World Cup. He is currently the backup goalkeeper for Arsenal.
