Everton relegation prediction made by Super Computer after Chelsea draw

Everton are predicted to avoid relegation along with Leeds United as they picked up points against Chelsea on Saturday, 18 March.

FiveThirtyEight crunched the numbers on their Super Computer, and predict Bournemouth, Southampton and Nottingham Forest to get relegated.

The Toffees gave themselves a big push in the right direction with a 2-2 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Narrowly

The Premier League race has never been as tight before as it is this season and it’s hearts in mouths for each of those nine teams every week.

Just four points separate Crystal Palace in 12th and Southampton at the bottom of the table.

Leeds beat Wolves on Saturday and that saw them climb up five places to 14th which only shows how crazy the table is.

Everton will fancy their chances as there’s been significant progress under Sean Dyche in a relatively short amount of time.

Despite them not signing anyone in January and losing Anthony Gordon to Newcastle, an argument can be made that they look in better shape now than they did at the start of the season.

The players know exactly what’s expected out of them in and out of possession and that’s precisely what one wants from a new manager.

His style of play isn’t one to get the Goodison Park faithful excited but they know that he’s not been dealt a fair deck of cards and he’s still managing to punch above his weight.
