Ex-Brazil star Hulk defies nickname with lean figure as he sheds a stone in body transformation over Christmas

FORMER Brazil star Hulk has undergone a dramatic body transformation after shedding a stone in weight.

The bulking winger has been playing for Atletico Mineiro back in his home country since 2021.

And the 36-year-old decided to defy his reputation by putting together a leaner figure during the holidays.

Atletico released a video on showing their star player's incredible body transformation.

And it was revealed during the clip that the forward dropped a stone within a very short period of time.

Atletico issued the following tweet: "Hulk before the game: 97.6 kg.

"Hulk after the game: 91.9 kg.

"Did he run a lot during the game? The man is a machine on the field!"

The Brazilian acquired his nickname due to his likeness to Incredible Hulk actor Lou Ferrigno.

The attacker burst onto the scene in 2008 when he played for Porto.

Hulk went on to win four Primeira Liga titles, three Portuguese cups and the 2011 Europa League.

The winger was linked with a move to Chelsea in the early 2010s but instead joined Zenit Saint Petersburg in 2012.

He then moved to China in 2016 for Shanghai SIPG before returning to Brazil five years later.
