Expect the Astros to stay hot, even on the road vs. Rays, plus other best bets for Wednesday

The Houston Astros are 10-1 in their last 11 road games. They have won their past two games against the Rays by a combined score of 9-0. Astros starter Lance McCullers Jr. has been sensational since returning. Rays starter Corey Kluber has struggled recently. He has a 3.92 ERA at Tropicana Field.

Cleveland Guardians are playing against the White Sox on Wednesday at 8:10 p.m. ET.

Guardians are the favorite to beat the White Sox on the road. Triston McKenzie has been excellent since the All-Star Break. Lance Lynn has also been good recently, but he has given up 11 hits in his last two starts against the Guardians.  Expect the Astros to stay hot, even on their road vs. the Rays.

The Guardians are 13-3 in their last 16 games.

Dustin May has only six starts since his return from surgery on his arm. He's only registered at least six strikeouts in one of those six games. Arizona ranks 20th in the majors in strikeouts. The Diamondbacks are playing against the Dodgers on Wednesday at 10:10 p.m.

The Astros are on the road against the Rays. May has had five or fewer strikeouts in each of his last four games.
