Max Verstappen extended his lead at the top of the standings to 63 points after another unforced error from Charles Leclerc. Ver stupendous win in Hungary is needed for Le Clerc to keep his title hopes alive.

The Hungaroring houses one of the windiest tracks on the circuit. The short straights make overtaking extremely difficult. Qualifying is key.

Esteban Ocon won the Hungarian Grand Prix last season. Lewis Hamilton restarted the race on his own and finished on the podium. Charles Leclerc is favourite to qualify on pole for this weekend's race.  The lack of straights could play into Ferrari's hands this season, but they should be able to do a qualifying and race double.

Carlos Sainz is favourite to win the Hungarian Grand Prix. Lewis Hamilton, George Russell and Lando Norris are all Top 6 finishers. McLaren had a good weekend in France and they will be looking to continue that form in Hungary. The weather won't be treacherous but the track will still be difficult to navigate.
